FAQ SKALARA
____
How does working with SKALARA start?
Always with a free 30-minute intro call, online. We clarify your needs, the framework and the fit — after that you'll receive a concrete proposal.
Do you work remotely or on site?
Both. Coaching and many programmes take place online; workshops, retreats and keynotes also on site at your organisation. My base is Vienna, with engagements internationally.
In which languages do you work?
German and English — coaching, workshops, talks and materials in both languages.
How are your fees structured?
Coaching and related services are offered as a package; workshops and programmes at a project price. You'll receive a transparent proposal before we begin — there are no hidden costs.
Do you invoice companies outside Austria within the EU?
Yes. For companies elsewhere in the EU, the reverse-charge procedure generally applies; we clarify the details in the proposal.
What happens if an appointment is cancelled at short notice?
Coaching sessions can be rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. For workshops and keynotes, the conditions set out in the respective proposal apply.
Who is SKALARA not the right fit for?
If you're looking for standard off-the-shelf training or pure tool tutorials, I'm not the best fit — and I'll tell you so honestly in the intro call.
What sets the SKALARA approach apart from classic leadership development?
Classic programmes train behaviour and skills. The SKALARA approach connects behavioural development with organisational structure and the economics of competencies — so that development doesn't fail because of the very system it's meant to work in.
Do I need all three disciplines to work with SKALARA?
No. Most engagements start in one area — a coaching process or an AI workshop, for example. The approach ensures the other perspectives are brought in once they become relevant.
What qualifies Cornelia Walter as an executive coach and organisational consultant?
Years of experience coaching in a business context, combined with her own leadership experience and excellent training at renowned coaching institutions such as Henley Business School and the University of Cambridge, form the full picture of Cornelia Walter's expertise. Strategic perspective and hands-on leadership experience also help her step into the shoes of the leaders she works with. Coaching is, above all, listening, asking the right questions and challenging the leader. Added to this is her certification as a mediator, LINC certification, and many years of experience in leadership development and organisational consulting.
How does coaching support leaders in times like these?
In phases of technological disruption (AI) and volatile markets, coaching sharpens personal decision quality (Decision Excellence). It helps leaders establish psychological safety within teams, reduce anxiety around change, and successfully navigate collaboration at the interface of people and machines.
Is the coaching confidential?
Completely. Even when your company funds the coaching, its content stays between us — only goals and framework are agreed with the sponsoring organisation.
What advantages does the LINC Personality Profiler (LPP) offer over DISC or MBTI?
Classic type tests such as DISC or MBTI reduce people to rigid categories ("red/blue types") and have long been scientifically discredited. The LPP, by contrast, is built on the Big Five — the global gold standard of modern personality psychology. It captures character, motives and competencies as individually, dimensionally and precisely as a digital fingerprint.
Is the psychological diagnostics data GDPR-compliant?
Yes, absolutely. Data security is a top priority in B2B and board-level work. All diagnostic data is stored fully GDPR-compliant and highly encrypted, exclusively on certified servers in Germany. The system uses no unsecured cloud solutions and meets the strict IT security requirements of international corporations.
What company sizes are the leadership programmes suited to?
From mid-sized companies to corporates. The formats scale — from a workshop with a single leadership team to a programme spanning multiple cohorts.
Are the leadership programmes available in English too?
Yes — I offer all programmes and workshops in German and English, including mixed-language formats when your leadership team is international.
Online, on site or hybrid — what works best?
It depends on the goal: building trust and teamwork benefit from in-person formats, while knowledge transfer and follow-up support work excellently online. Most programmes combine both.
How long does an e-learning course take?
The courses are designed for 0.5–4 hours of learning time, split into short modules. Alongside a job, they're comfortably manageable within one to two weeks.
Are there licences for companies?
Yes. For teams and organisations, multi-user licences are available, and on request, adapted versions using your own examples and terminology.
Do participants receive a certificate?
Yes — a certificate of completion is issued after each course.
What does a keynote cost?
The fee depends on format, duration and occasion. You'll receive a concrete proposal after a short enquiry.
Do you tailor the talk to our company?
Always. Every keynote is preceded by a briefing call; examples and references are adapted to your audience.
How does SKALARA help companies discover talent and deploy it effectively?
Rather than searching for CV clones, SKALARA analyses both transferable skills and untapped potential. Through scientifically grounded diagnostics, I help organisations avoid mis-hires, use internal resources with agility, and position the right people in the strategically optimal role.
How can I get in touch with Cornelia Walter?
Every engagement begins with a free intro call — in English, a "chemistry call." It's a first opportunity to get to know each other, before discussing next steps.
