Privacy at a glance
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, Austrian TKG 2003). This privacy information explains the most important aspects of data processing on our website.
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator, whose contact details can be found in the legal notice of this website.
How do we collect your data?
Some data is collected when you provide it to us — for example, data you enter into a contact form. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. browser, operating system or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.
What do we use your data for?
• Contract fulfilment: personal data provided in the context of concluding a contract (contact and payment data) is processed for contract handling and is necessary for the conclusion of the contract; it is processed on the basis of statutory permissions in fulfilment of the contract.
• Marketing purposes: processing of your personal data for marketing purposes (in particular sending information for advertising purposes by fax, letter, email or SMS).
• Part of the data is collected to ensure the error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this, and for further questions on data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Analytics and third-party tools:
When you visit our website, your surfing behaviour may be statistically evaluated, primarily via cookies and analytics programmes. The analysis of your surfing behaviour is generally anonymous and cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. Details can be found in the following privacy policy.
General information and mandatory information
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains which data we collect and what we use it for, and how and for what purpose this happens. We point out that data transmission on the internet (e.g. communication by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Responsible party:
SKALARA e.U. · Cornelia Walter, MBA MA · Fourniergasse 4-6/6 · 1130 Vienna, Austria · Email: hello@skalara-consulting.com. The responsible party is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses etc.).
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing:
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time; an informal message by email is sufficient. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.
Your rights
You have, in principle, the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, withdrawal and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde).
Right to data portability:
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only take place where technically feasible.
Information, blocking, deletion:
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this, and for further questions about personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the legal notice.
Objection to advertising emails:
We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the framework of the legal-notice obligation for the transmission of advertising and information material not expressly requested. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising, for example spam emails.
Data collection on our website
Cookies:
Our pages partly use cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and contain no viruses; they serve to make our offering more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies”, deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them; they enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies, allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of this website. Cookies required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you have requested are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR; the website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Other cookies (e.g. for analysing surfing behaviour) are treated separately in this privacy policy.
Server log files:
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request, IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
Contact form:
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact data you provide there, are stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. Processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time; an informal message by email is sufficient, and the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal remains unaffected. The data you enter remains with us until you request deletion, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for storage no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular retention periods — remain unaffected.
Processing of data (customer data):
We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for establishing, structuring or changing the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our pages (usage data) only insofar as necessary to enable or invoice the user's use of the service. Collected customer data is deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship; statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
